    [PSA] With the recent news of Albert and Kuukan in JP, Yashiro Nanakase (KoF) is gaining value!

    As King of Fighters is still on in NA for the next couple of days, just wanted to put this out there for anyone who might be interested.

    With the release of Albert (new GFE) and Kuukan (new 6-star teased today from the Shikigami gacha event), Yashiro Nanakase seems to have gained a couple of excellent upcoming lead pairings. This is especially noteworthy since it's still possible to exchange for him in NA (on the relatively cheap side @ 4x 6-star GFE), and we're essentially guaranteed to get both of these new monsters in NA. On top of that, having a Yashiro of your own would allow you to pair with both for the price of one.

    Some key points:

    • Base Yashiro paired with Albert: [2.25/324/3 Resist 57.75%] [50k fua]

      • 7x6 board
      • Big damage against Healers
      • Can take advantage of Fire subs
      • Lower end of SB and movetime between leads
      • 50k FUA is enough for most spawns, but not Aten/Tamas in A6/AA4 nor Alcyone in Shura

    • Evo Yashiro paired with Evo Kuukan: [1.5/360/1.5 Resist 67.5%] [+2c 500k fua]

      • 6x5 board
      • Good amount of SB, TE, and full blind resist between leads
      • Big damage against Devils
      • 500k FUA is perfect for almost everything
      • Lower effective HP/RCV than Albert pairing
      • Can't take advantage of Fire subs

    The last thing to consider before exchanging for Yashiro is whether or not you have a strong pool of Physical monsters to draw from. Some highlights to look for:

    • Chakeol, either form
    • XMas Romia
    • Hiyori Sarugaki
    • Ludsev & Salerm
    • Pixel Norn Verdandi
    • Reincarnated Ruel
    • Raizer

    • Jiraiya

    • Inahime

    • Grandis

    • Duval

    • Tachibana Ginchyo

    • Takeda Shingen

    • Grigory

    • Amaterasu

    Whether or not you decide that Yashiro is valuable will be determined by your box and by your own playstyle tastes. I was fortunate enough to roll my own pretty quickly this time around, but I wanted to at least point out his potential upcoming value to others before the KoF event is over. Hope it's at least been some interesting food for thought!

    Been having fun with Iori Fasca recently. I enjoyed playing a non-use an active every turn kinda lead(if you know what I mean). Will get replaced by Raijin in the future but fun leader to play with.

    KOF Trade ?

    I usually roll in collabs til I get dupes, this one happened to be that my first dupe roll was a second Terry Bogard. I'm not sure I want 1 Terry Bogard, so to trade would only cost me 2 6* GFEs. The other 6* I rolled was a Yashiro Nanakase. I was thinking about trading for second, as his base paired with his evo looks fun. Otherwise, I'm wondering what are your thoughts on if any of these are good long term subs. I like using a variety of teams, so if any of these are premium subs for some particular team, I may go that way. Is there any value to having 2 Terry Bogards that I'm missing?
