    Here's my full review of the highly anticipated Yugioh collab - this one came sooner than expected! As usual this is based off my experience playing the cards in JP and referencing various JP youtubers. I like to think this as a practical guide rather than a comprehensive review - if it doesn't have practical purpose than I'm not going to comment. As usual here's my overall comments on the REM:

    • The REM is a good investment for almost everyone as it has some very good low rarity cards that are excellent for current content and upcoming transform meta
    • 7* bundle is high value as all 3 cards are excellent
    • I said this in my JP Jan review but here's my rolling recommendations
      • If you're relatively new as in you don't have a full team with assists then it's better to save and roll in Nere/Faska SGF
      • Great reroll collab as you can roll an entire Yugi team (2 Yugi, 1 Dark Magician, 2 Fortress Dragon would be my recommendation)
      • If you're trading for Yugi or have a compatible lead, target to roll at least 2 Dragons (Fortress Dragon) and preferably 1 DM (dark magician). I suspect 10-20 rolls
      • If you can't trade for Yugi then roll for 1-2 Dragons regardless, maybe get an elf as a bonus!

    Here's my top picks as usual (if I miss something, I either forgot or just never played with it)

    7*

    Yugi

    • Way too OP (auto FUA, void poison, 20x multiplier)
    • Team building is not as restrictive as he was buffed to 20CD (fun farmable video: https://youtu.be/UECz_GzFu0c)
    • No need to roll him if you have a compatible leader: 6x5: HMadoo, Genjuro, Nere, Faska or 7x6 leaderswap: HBastet, Tao Ren, Ina - I honestly don't believe any particular pairing is head and shoulders better than others - I've tried almost all of them. However, 7x6 has its standard inherit advantages
    • Amazing equip on his own team - add damage, get SBR to cover DMG as well as having a bind clear

    Kaiba

    • Good leader but not great. Stick with Velkhana. Unfortunately Coco (JP only) is still much much better than Kaiba
    • Amazing sub, particularly if you didn't pick up Chidori
    • One of my favourite SB equips for Yugi teams - particularly the RCV buff as Yugi teams do lack a bit in this department

    Marik

    • Very good option for bind/awoken clear for Yugi teams as he also has 3SB
    • Possibly one of the highest value equips in the game - universally good on any team

    6*

    Tea - Great Faska sub - highly recommend you stick 2 RCV+ on her. She'd be in more of my Faska teams if her active didn't suck so much and tape is redundant with Alice

    Joey - Great way to add L awakening to Yugi teams - particularly if you run Genjuro

    Bakura - Highest damage sub in the game, particularly if you use his equip. I only recommend using him on 7x6 unless you're running Galso team. He performs best as a pair.

    Dark Magician (DM) - My particular pick of the collab as he is key to transform better - remember his equip gives essentially 4 SB including his delay. For example he makes Horus a 7SB sub

    Blue Eyes Dragon - Very good purchase IMO if you run Minaka teams but lack VDP damage - particularly if you need movement time and pair with BVeroah/Ukyo/base Minaka.

    Dark Magical Girl (DMG) - Good Yugi sub with 4 SB, please remember she has no SBR

    5*

    Mystic Elf - finally a widely available equip to remove "unable to match orbs" - poor man's Kurama. I'd recommend keeping 2.

    Fortress Dragon - de facto sub for Yugi with essentially 6 SB. Note that if you want to buff him with an inherit, it needs to be light and not red. Similar to DMG, remember he has no SBR. Look to roll 2.

    Kuriboh - Very good 7x6 leader for wood - great one to use for leaderswap. Also an excellent equip for Yugi!

    Yugi x Nere vs. Alice x Faska

    With Yu-Gi-Oh coming to NA, I want to decide whether to roll or not. Assuming perfect subs and equipments, which team do you think is the better team? Yugi x Nere or Alice x Faska.

    Yugi x Nere has 4/360/4/25%, and complete poison immunity built-in. But requires 7 orbs to activate. Here's the actual Team

    This pairing is very sub restrictive, but fortunately can be built almost entirely from Yu-Gi-Oh collab minus the equipments and Hiei

    Alice x Faska has 3/320/4/25%, but only requires 9 combos to activate 160x, and 6 orbs to fully activate 320x. Here's a sample Team

    This pairing on the other hand is very flexible, only requiring ATK type.

    Yugioh Collab and Coop

    I'm looking for more information on yugioh and coop teams but I can't find a specific thread for it. I play a lot of coop with my alt. I have 160 stones and can trade for yugi on both accounts. My questions are:

    • Would it be worth to trade for yugi on both accounts if I have Ina on my main? In essence, are double yugi a better leader pairing than Yugi and Ina?
    • From what I've read, fortress dragon and dark magician are used for their delay and SBs to transform yugi as soon as possible. Since I'm playing coop where SBs stacked, are these both still necessities for yugi teams?
    • I'm trying to analyze both my boxes if building a yugi coop team is worth the investment. What are other key/great subs for yugi that is outside this collab?

    Any help works, even if you have a thread link to my questions. Thanks.
