    Was announced in KR today - which means it's probably due for NA within the next week or two. So imma just ramble about it.

    7x6. 1 floor with 1 spawn, Yatagarasu. He has 2 bil defense and 12 HP.
    Boosted style points: 2k points for TPAs, 10k points for guardbreak, 4k points for Ls.

    Basic bitch one-shot strat for 10%ing: set up a rainbow board and make as many Ls and combos as possible. Bring L awakenings of each color and bring guardbreak awakening.
    Since it's only 1 floor time doesn't really matter, what really matters is dem styles, and then combos (capped at 15c).
    Team should cover sufficient SB for the board setup actives, preferably also include a skyfall active and/or spike active if needed for max dmg points (40m), cover Ls of all colors, include a guardbreak sub that can hit dam cap, and, uh, that's basically it.

    Dacho shows one such setup here
    Akuma 4-color skyfall, then the board is Surtr -> Joco -> Leeza -> Kulia.
    Follow the fixed board trace and you end up with 8 Ls, guardbreak, and whatever combos skyfall gives you. Run until you pull off the trace fast enough + you get skyfall to 15c.
    Gintoki is JP only but it should be easy enough to follow the general template and construct an equivalent setup.
    But this is a basic bitch team that pretty much anyone will be able to pull off if they can build a working team - it's the same solve every time and requires 0 player skill. Once you learn the trace it's just a matter of running until skyfall blesses you. So competition is stiff. Dacho is fast as fuck and he only hit 272k with the team and cutoff was 274k. It's a 10% team.

    Crown strat: Max the shit out of style points over multiple turns. Don't one-shot. Due to the high def, as long as you don't break the defense (guardbreak/defbreak active/actually hitting over 2bil), the damage you do will be equivalent to the number of pings you do. If you do 1 ping, you do 1 damage. If you do 2 pings, you do 2 damage.
    The dominating strat for crowns and top3 is gonna be to 2-ping bicolor spam. 2-ping bicolors means 6 turns to get L styles. And you can make multiple Ls off a good bicolor. Build a team to 2-ping bicolor. If you're missing 1 SB, you can 1c hearts to get up skills or whatever - time doesn't matter much.

    A couple notes:
    a) You can actually pull off 6.5 bicolors by using a 1-ping bicolor somewhere. That 1-ping bicolor will only be able to give you half as many L styles, obviously. imo not worth doing this.
    b) Skyfalling extra pings is a big rip. If you have no sf badge, that's cool. Otherwise, you can try a no sf lead, that works too. Or you can just pray for not skyfalling extra pings on 7x6 LOL. Or run the basic bitch 10% one-shot team instead.
    c) Last bicolor doesn't have to be 2 ping obviously
    d) Max damage is 10k more points. One thing you can do is use B&J defbreak as your last bicolor. Put killers and L equip on B&J.
    e) Guardbreak ponts? Obviously guardbreak is minimum 5 pings, so you don't want to do that usually. But your last shot is fine. You can nat board guardbreak L on your last shot - or you can build your team with guardbreak and hope to skyfall all attributes after a bicolor. Guardbreak will do the same thing that B&J defbreak did, assuming your guardbreak sub hits >40m. Obviously you can't skyfall guardbreak if you built no sf - so one strat was to leaderswap into a skyfall lead to get rid of no sf on the last floor.
    f) fucking big brain strat - on match3 you can make 6 Ls max. But on match4 you can do some cascades and end up with 8 Ls. All of JP's top3 used Keela for precisely this purpose.
    g) if you can spare an active, you can delay Yata and skip its attack animations. But again, time isn't worth that much so prob not worth doing this

    Konotan's #1 team: Despharion x Keela for no sf and match4. Threedia is rehasted to swap out Despharion no sf on the final floor to get that skyfall guardbreak. Red blue and dark Ls are covered with Ruddy, Ronia, and Lutina. Ruddy covers guardbreak. Skyfall buff too. Ronia -> Mori * 4 -> rehasted Ronia -> rehasted Threedia -> skyfall buff

    Tsuzukeruzon's #2 team: Keela for match4. Acubens is a 1 ping bicolor, see note a, he did this to get an extra bicolor. He probably used no sf badge and then nat boarded the final one for guardbreak Ls.

    black's #3 team: Orage x Keela for no sf match4. Swap into Beyzul on final floor for guardbreak skyfall. Looks like he rehasted Shiva to defbreak to get max damage points, not sure? Since Lutina was guardbreaking and looks like he hit double of max damage.

    Overall most important thing is to do 2-ping bicolors. Time barely matters so if you're missing SB you can do the poverty strat of 1c hearts to charge.

    Misc. notes: Lutina and Ruddy are really nice - guardbreak and L coverage. Otherwise you can do an L equip on one of your bicolors. Building specifically 2 ping bicolor Ls is easiest if you just spam the same bicolor lol. Um. You'll be using a lot of 1-color SB sticks like Diaochan, Orpharion, Moogle, base Tengu, idk.

    tl;dr please run one-shot team so I have an easier time crowning thanks

    So...basically.....if you haven't been able to pull the cards needed with the skills/awakenings that are kind of basically required to beat (basically all challenge 9's for the past few months), you can't beat it? (excluding using a heap of magic stones) just need clarification since i have struggled for the past few months being a f2p player since i started the game. granted, i have gotten through alt arena's with what i've been able to farm (and luckily pull from free pulls and the occasional godfests) but...i haven't pulled a LOT of the "good" monsters. i have a good handful yes, but...i feel it's slightly unfair for players that just, dont have them. i apologize if this sounds like complaining, but are there work arounds to this? this month it looks like you need a 1 turn CD assist looking dark monster. but, for this months challenge 9, i have NOTHING that can change a board in 1 turn. nor do i own a monster that can recover more than the lethal poisons damage on that first turn. help please?

    Back with another AA3 clear. This time i was testing Tifa x Super 1 and it turns out great. However, do not attempt to go in without properly resists like i did. The spawns really helped me blasting through.

    With the dungeon being available for the month of January. Is it more efficient to run the monthly with a partner at half stamina.

    Or to farm gold Kamen Rider medals for flampys instead? I've got two fully skilled (from when there was the 50% nidhogg dungeon for a few days). I'm 11 skill ups into the third one and the fourth one being untouched still

    As of this posting, It's now 5 days until the release of Puzzle and Dragons GOLD (January 15th)

    Since it's release date announcement last month, GungHo does what GungHo does.. go dead silent

    For weeks since the release of the English trailer leading up to it's release so far, GungHo so far failed to the following to bring awareness to the game's release next wednesday

    • No eShop Listing

    • No Pre-Loading of Game

    • No Preview streams of game

    • Not giving press codes to Switch YouTubers like RGT 85, Abdallah, Switch Force, Switch Watch, etc
