My Shura 3 notes - Every gimmick broken down

    Posted: 23 Jul 2021 08:33 PM PDT

Welcome back Shura 3 gang! My Shura 1 gimmick breakdown was so well received that I decided to do the same for Shura 3. This should help everyone decide what actives to bring, time their actives, and give an easily searchable list of what gimmicks you will encounter. I have also included some bits of advice on most of the gimmicks based on my experience in the dungeon.

If you enjoy the breakdown, come by my stream sometime and say hi. Check me out at twitch.tv/randall_kto. I'm always up to answer questions or chat about literally anything. If you would like a floor by floor translation, make sure to also check out my Shura 3 Translation.

What Happened to NA Leader Tier Lists?

    Posted: 24 Jul 2021 10:47 AM PDT

I play this game very casually; sometimes I'll play for a while, but most of the time, I just login and leave. However, I do pay attention to the community because I can get a glimpse of what's going on in the game by watching the content. I also think that the community is what makes the game really enjoyable, because let's face it; PAD gets pretty boring after a while.

One thing I've noticed is that over the years, leader tier lists simply disappeared for North America. The last notable example I can remember is u/zoopido posting his tier lists on Reddit around 2020. Why have content creators simply stopped making leader tier lists?

I understand that JP has blogs that still update their own tier lists, but JP is a different animal from NA due to the difference in available cards. (RIP Marvel, Disney, etc.) I also understand that tier lists are inherently flawed because they make certain assumptions when rating leaders that don't apply to most players in reality. However, I still think that leader tier lists are cool to see both as an investment guide and as a historical reference, which is why I'm curious about their disappearance in the North American community.

    Thoughts?

    Fujin Active Skill Question

    Posted: 24 Jul 2021 12:23 PM PDT

I have MA Fujin and the active skill Calm Wind halves atk from fire for 1 turn; voids damage absorption for 2 turns.

My current understanding is damage absorption and color absorption were the same thing. Every time I use this skill to combat a color absorption it doesn't work. Granted I have not used it against a monster that absorbs the 4M+ damage like Machine Athena. I normally don't pop this active bc I have plenty of the Void damage Piecer awakenings on my team from 2 Kaedes. Sometimes I cannot break through the damage void, so does this Fujin active break ignore that 4M+ damage on Machine Athena so that I can one shot her? I have yet to beat machine Athena and hoping to beat it today.

Grateful for any advice, though I think I answered my question by typing this out… thank you in advance.
