    Longevity of PAD

    Posted: 24 Dec 2020 09:43 AM PST

I've spent a good amount of money on this game because it's a fun and quick stress relief for me. I'm busy so phone games are easier than longer PC or console games. What do you think the longevity of this game will be? Do you think this game will be around for a long time and continuously be updated? Is their still a strong player base? Or do you see this game falling off in like 5-10 years? Thanks

[Speculation] Who will be our new 9* NY Card?

    Posted: 24 Dec 2020 11:54 AM PST

We finished out the five OG witches alt and then got some Heroines/DBDC (Roche, Ideal, Planar, Valeria, Suou) but then we randomly get Tamadra for Christmas. Do you think we'll jump back into pad lore alts? (I think so) Maybe NYHighren or Rehven? Highly doubtful but maybe even our first transform 9* seasonal like the second set of witches?

Shikigami Tsukai & Ayakashi: Best Onmyousho Charms?

    Posted: 24 Dec 2020 11:40 AM PST

So it's basically the same style of farming as SDKH?

Will it be easier to farm the materials than SDKH ?

Ouki's, Nakoja's and Furaku's Sealing Charms seem like they may be some of the best ones.

The others seem like they are pretty useful too.

The red and blue yin dragons seem like they would be worth it to farm and skill up their assists

Usefulness of new Damage Absorb Piercer latent

    Posted: 24 Dec 2020 11:32 AM PST

Am I missing something, or does the new damage absorb piercer latent going to be extremely difficult to use to kill an enemy?

Like the attribute absorb piercer latent, it needs yo be on the helper to be effective. However, unlike the attribute absorb piercer latent, even if the helper's main attribute does enough to kill, the helper's sub attribute needs to out-damage the rest of the team's combined sub attribute damage, as they will restore the enemy's health. That seems like it won't happen very often, especially if using identical leaders. With the attribute absorb piercer latent, at least there's a chance that any absorbed sub attribute damage can be overcome by the rest of the teams sub attribute damage.

    Am I missing something?

Now that Mystics and Spectres is confirmed starting with the new year...

    Posted: 24 Dec 2020 08:41 AM PST

Let's talk about mikage, the dark 7* chase. I think they look like the most interesting of the bunch, so I'm gonna write up some propaganda on why I think friends lists should be full of them on 1/1/21 3:01 est. At least I think that's the time the game refreshes, now that daylight savings something or other, idk man.

For the purposes of this propaganda piece, I'll assume dual mikage.

Pre transform, Mikage comes with 3 sb out of the box and a 7c. It takes 25 turns to transform.

Mikage's leader skill post transform is mostly based off of matching combos of dark and one other color. For matching any two colors, you get a very good 400x attack multiplier, as well as +4c and a 1 damage ping from each leader. For matching three dark combos, you get a whopping 93.75% shield, or 16x effective health. Oh, and you get 10 extra seconds of movement time.

Interestingly, their active skill lets you create a 3 turn spinner on a 6 turn cooldown, as well as giving you a free dark row and then locking darks. With dual mikage, the spinner can be systemed. Very promising.

We haven't had a lot of leaders that look like they actually utilize spinners to their advantage. So far I think it's only been the moose twins, who have the move time to be able to pull orbs out for all five colors + heal. I think this is a really interesting play style, given that it not only (obviously) negates some boss mechanics that involve just a board half full of spinners going off at the speed of light, it also means the orb hungriness of mikage is much easier to manage. ways.

Of course, obviously mikage faces the same issue color combo leads have always faced, which is: how the hell are you supposed to vdp and kill stuff? To that end... I don't really know lmao. Easiest solution is probably to use vdp latent on mikage? Which means the vdp on mikage is meaningless? Idk, I was hoping somebody could comment a possible solution.

However, Mikage synergizes very well with the new damage awakening gh released recently, so I think we'll be getting some very good mikage subs coming in the future.

As it stands, I think mikage is one of those leads that could maybe clear bleeding edge meta stuff with the right team but isn't really what people think of when they go to clear stuff for the first time. However, I think that of the three new 7*, they look the most fun and new. I'll personally be gunning for mikage come new year.

Let me know what you think about my write up in the comments. I've never done this before, so any pointers would be nice.
