Yes.
To anyone wondering - PAD pass is absolutely worth it. I've had it since it started, I don't buy stones, when I got PAD pass on the first day it came out I think I had 6 stones, I now have 80 with a couple rolls along the way.
Finally can beat aten consistantly, but damnn.. didnt realize tamas had the same 2 bill defense coupled with 99% damage red. So much for cleo with 3x tama killers latents and tama killing assist

Back in March I had bought a pre-paid iphone 7 from Amazon for $199

I use it for my alt acct with WiFi only

If you are needing a new iphone for PAD and are using it with WiFi only or planning to use it as pre-paid this could be a good option for you.

I am not sure how it is like on JP, but I can confidently say that Puzzles and Dragons NA has one of the worst tutorials in video games. Hell, they don't even teach you what leader skills are. Or awakenings in fact. They don't show awakening multipliers, which might be one of the most stupid design choices I have ever seen. In fact, most players don't even know what awakenings are, as it is hard to decode the monster info screen.

When players view a monsters' info, they just see rubbish. Gung-ho doesn't even code in a tutorial to guide players on what is what. Instead of explaining the info shown on screen, Gung-ho just shoves a bunch of UI in your face.

It took me 1 whole damn year to realise awakenings exist. ONE YEAR.

And when Gung-ho tries to give players help, they shove the info at Others>Links>Combo tips. If you tap Combo tips, it brings you to this video:

Yup. They show an 8 year old video for 'tips.' Also, which outsourced Malaysian child was used to edit this video? I know it is 8 years old, but I seriously think there were infinitely better programs to edit whatever the hell that video used. The IGN video for Puzzles and Dragons is 1000% percent better for combo tips than that.

Honestly, I am flabbergasted how NA is alive and kicking. When a mobile game is out, the game can only sustain its existence with money. Usually, the people who fund the game are people who play casually. PAD is so casual unfriendly that I refuse to believe someone would spend money on this game when they don't know the ins and outs of this. But, the people on Facebook prove me wrong. Seriously, I swear to God that Facebook users are the only thing funding PAD NA.

Shura's realm is coming to NA, and the majority of PAD players don't even know the existence of Arenas. People who have the dedication to get to the Arenas have used help from Ilmina or PDX. 3rd party sources are required to clear A6 or AA4.

It is really disappointing how a new player needs to spend MONTHS on this game to know the ins and outs, when it could've took them a week if PAD had proper tutorial systems.

When I see an ad for PAD, I am disappointed. The lack of an active fan base is not because there is a lack of PR. It is because Gung-ho is not friendly to newer players. If Gung-ho had a better tutorial system and then had more marketing, I am sure they would have more players. If players realized how much fun comboing properly was, they would stay with the game.

Currently, Gung-ho is focused on adding content for endgame instead of focusing on the beginner and mid game experience. If NA ever shuts down, I would blame it Gung-ho NA's ignorance and failure to be beginner friendly, while idiotically marketing to an audience that will never spend money on a half baked game tutorial.

Wouldn't it be nice if resources like dadguide / PDX / ilmina had an option to search for lead pairings that achieve a certain effect. Example: criteria search for lead pair that's fire main attribute, 50%+ shield, link 5+ orbs, 320x+ multiplier and then it yields lead pairings that would get this effect.

It would be a ton of work, but a man can dream.
