    So with the leads with additional combos, in my mind there's a question: How much value does adding combos add?

    The part that we care about is :

    (Sum of damage) * (1 + 0.25 * (Combo_Count - 1)).

    We have three situations that I'm going to be discussing:

    • 1 combo

    • 10 combos (Max combos on 6x5)

    • 14 combos (Max combos on 7x6).

    For each I'm going to discuss +2c, +4c, and +6c.

    For 1 combo:

    • +0c : 1x damage.

    • +2c : 1.5x

    • +4c : 2x

    • +6c : 2.5x

    For 10 combos:

    • +0c : 3.25x damage.

    • +2c : 3.75x

    • +4c : 4.25x

    • +6c : 4.75x

    For 14 combos:

    • +0c : 4.25x damage.

    • +2c : 4.75x

    • +4c : 5.25x

    • +6c : 5.75x

    So at 1 combo it's very clear how much the damage scales with +2c multiplies the damage by 1.5, +4c multiplies by 2, and +6c multiplies it by 2.5. At 10 combos however, the added combos have a far lesser effect (gotten via added_combo_multiplier / base_multiplier): +2c is only multiplying by ~1.15, +4c multiplies by ~1.30, and +6c multiplies by ~1.46. At 14 combos the effect is even more reduced with +2c multiplying by ~1.117, +4c by ~1.235, and +6c by ~1.35.

    Now what does this mean? Well that multiplier is multiplied to the current damage / healing gotten from orbs and as such can theoretically be multiplied into a card's leader skill. That being said, the multipliers are far more efficient at lower combo counts, and as such the bonus isn't always static.

    I personally take the additional multiplier at 10c / 14c because that's the 'worst case scenario' for the bonus and value them at roughly an additional multiplier for dmg/rcv of:

    • (1 + 0.075 * bonus_combos) [for 6x5]

    • (1 + 0.05 * bonus_combos ) [for 7x6]

    So why should you care? Idk, I use this to calculate leader skills every once in a while (for example, VIdeal should outdamage NYReeche as a lead unless my math is wrong). Outside of that, this was just floating around my head seeing how there's some sick reincarnated samurais running about with the easiest +3c per lead in the universe.

    edit thanks to /u/bauboish : Outside of the combos adding dmg/rcv, they allow for more consistent activation of 7c, 10c and help with combo shields.

    So yeah, added combos are good. Use em.

    TL;DR: more combo make brain go brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

    [Help] Trying to setup a Lubu x Shivnia team for TA2

    I'm trying to setup a easy farm team for TA2, but my sub choices dont exactly match to most guides. i kinda have narrowed the team down to this:

    Lubu (Gravitia) / Aoi (chuan) / Chuan (def break) / Fortress Dragon (SB equip) / Flex (Chuan) / Shivnia (Gravitia)

    is this team actually viable to clear TA2? what latents should i put on the units? I do have a Omega too but i dont think it will work as well as dark rows. How big an issue is the RCV?

    I have plenty of trade fodder from all the times I've pulled on this collab and have gotten lucky with several dupes I don't mind exchanging. I was considering getting DOmega for his ease of farming TA2 and speed farming other stuff but I lack Revhen, Theor, and Ranger Slayer. I do have Saber Alter and Macha. Is this enough to use him realistically for what I want? Or should I not do it without the strongest subs?
