    New JP card releases coming soon, including Chinese gods (Leilan, Haku, etc) assist evolutions

    Based on a data update from DadGuide it looks like ~30 new cards or evolutions will be announced soon. The Chinese gods assist forms looks especially crazy, with unbindable or TE+, +SB and an insanely good active skills (+3c, +3s and full board change to their leader skill color requirements).

    Edit: Also a new water leader that recovers all awoken skill binds when healing over 50k from heal orbs. Also a 3000 days Tama was added.

    Edit 2: Looks like there's also a new Evo material added to monster exchange used in the Chinese gods assist evolutions. The Evo material also has 2-turn void damage absorb active (probably a gem from the new descend coming out with the event)

    [Review] Gintama Collab REM - aka Umbrella REM

    Wow Gungho is on a roll getting more JP collabs in NA! As usual this is based off my experience playing the cards in JP and referencing various JP youtubers. I like to think this as a practical guide rather than a comprehensive review - if it doesn't have practical purpose than I'm not going to comment. As usual here's my overall comments on the REM:

    • An overall good value REM but nothing ground breaking. For newer accounts this one is great with equips at all rarity levels.
    • Diamond rates is low at 16% so trading is definitely recommended for veterans.
    • All shall refer this as Umbrella REM
    • Big thanks for protic as usual for card details and rates (https://pad.protic.site/gintama-collab-2nd-run-details/) - this is for JP but should be similar

    Note that I don't play multiplayer so I can't comment on the usefulness of cards from that perspective.

    Here's my top picks as usual:

    6*

    Tokugawa - aka Underwear man

    • Evo version is the new Saline with a decent multiplier. Great for UDR runs or upcoming TA2 8x EXP event. Worth having one if you're higher rank and want to reach that coveted rank 1000
    • Equip is a pair of undies, what else can I say? (4 girls and 2 pairs of underwear: https://youtu.be/Ahaqf0L7apw)

    Kintoki

    • Evo is a great SB stick for Fasca teams but I find that those teams are overwhelmed with non-offensive orb creating actives already (Kanna, Indra, Athena Another, etc)
    • Equip - unbindable <50% equip, extremely useful for TA2 farming if you don't have access to one already

    Gintoki

    • One of the best Donald/Lampeid damage+VDP sticks
    • Equip is particularly useful SB equip for Grigory teams with that +c active

    Okita

    • Base is speed farming king along with Raoh, can pair with Haomaru/Dona and just slap on light row makers. One of my go to teams for monthly quests

    Takasugi

    • Evo is another great rainbow sub with bypass damage void. Good synergy with Kintoki equip on Aten
    • Equip is a nice damage boost for your damage stick and the defense break active is perfect for TA2

    Umbrella Man - aka Kamui

    • Uevo is great pair with Grigory or just as a farming leader with easy activation
    • Evo is a solid sub for Super-1/Rainbow transform teams with 3 SB
    • Equip is hands down the most used equip in the game. Even if you don't need Fujin it acts as a RCV debuff removal or just enhanced healing. Great on almost any bindable sub but notable ones including Inoue, Aten, RDiaochan, Sakura (Yokai Watch)

    5*

    Tsukuyo

    • Fixed time leader is great as it counters all time debuffs. Pairs well with Mickey and Friends

    Shinpachi

    • Cloud res equip along with useful convert and spinner counter. Works well on AApollo teams in particular

    Kagura

    • Go to physical killer for rankings/farming

    Tae

    • Easiest access to <50% equip for farming TA2

    Isao

    • Jammer res equip for Alice teams with guaranteed number of light orbs active

    Kotaro

    • L-unlock equip access, perfect for Yugi/Alice/Dina teams

    Tatsuma

    • Tape res used to be hard to come by but you can farm academy equip instead

    Kyubei

    • Useful for 1 ranking dungeon where a dark dragon killer was needed
    • Equip is a nice way to increase RCV a bit, always useful if you have an extra slot

    Returning After 5 Years, Need Some Catching Up

    I played PAD 5 yrs ago but the account is long gone. I'm coming back now with a new account, and my current leader is Yang GuiFei. I have 60 magic stones, should I use them on the current REM, PAD Academy, or Gintama? It seems like everything has been powercrept, I can now clear 40/50 on endless corridors at just Rank 18. I don't know what's good anymore

    Leads for Moby?

    Moby has always been my bane because of the 4 seconds move time. Any lead pairs you guys can recommend? Don't have B&J or DKarin. I usually use Madoo for speed, but that fire attribute makes it hard. What do you all use?

    Hello all, pretty simple question: trade for a second Kamui or pick up Sougo Okita?

    Not sure if there's large benefit from having both the card and the assist. I'm testing Kamui's viability as a sub on my AA Raoh team (Raoh, Ronia, Brilliante, used to be Nakoruru base for the clear/super poison but replaced with Kamui, Eir, Evo Nakoruru or Raoh) because I'd love to have a damage absorb void in a primary active slot rather than having to wait the extra 10-15 turns as a Nakoruru inherit. Losing the super poison is annoying, but I can still maintain resistance to the main four mechanics.

    Sougo looks like a solid sub for my Alice/Faska team and can fill the flex spot I've wanted to fill. Team is Alice, Asuna, Bradamante(99 light skyfall inherit), SR Venus, Fortress Dragon, Faska. Replacing the fortress dragon with an on color attacker gives me the full Faska leader skill effect across all subs. More importantly the 5 effective SB makes me a happy camper and cleanly replaces the fortress dragon at 6 SB.

    Thoughts?

    Edit: if Kamui as a sub doesn't work out, not a problem as I can just convert to the assist form (RIP L110), but I think I'll go out of my way to have a damage absorb void up and available earlier.

    Both teams operate cleanly. Alice/Faska is a powerhouse, so is filling the flex spot necessary? Not really. Do I want to be optimal? If possible, yes. Raoh is also a powerhouse, takes a little more effort though, and leaving Kamui as a sub would be more of a QoL thing than anything, whereas filling the Alice/Faska team spot would be simply satisfying.
