[JP] March 2020 Review

Sorry I posted this a bit later as I wanted to test out the Bleach buffs.

This is my regular post at the end of each month wrapping up key releases in JP and providing my comments. The idea is NOT to provide a full review of each card but more of a highlight of specific cards - it's just my initial thoughts. I'm going to focus on cards that'll have a chance to come to NA. Big thanks to Protic blog as usual for translations which I'll reference a lot.

As usual, this is based off my playing experience in JP along with watching various JP youtubers.

Mickey Collab (https://pad.protic.site/mickey-mouse-friends-collab-details/) - seems possible to hit NA given Disney is from America

Mickey & Friends - surprise of the REM as it turns out to be a great sub and leader - works well with most rainbow teams. You can even pair with Grigory! (https://youtu.be/iLR9Ri4dkDU)
Donald - Top water damage sub now and a great leader in his own right. If you like pure combo, this is the best pairing with Fasca IMO (just pure combo the board every turn and watch stuff die)
Minnie - best new time stick for Fasca/Grigory - such amazing utility all in 1 sub
Daisy - pew pew pew down low difficulty dungeons
Gachadra was tons of fun - even though I never got good RNG combos it was still the most fun I had on Gachadra. Note you can get the orb skin this way.

Rolling Advice

Great REM to roll in especially for newer players as even the low rarities are useful as equips
Unfortunately only Mickey & Friends is tradeable and you'll just get trolled by Mickey non-stop

Menoa (https://pad.protic.site/new-fes-exclusive-menoa-with-5-evolutions/) - The 7* Cotton

Extremely versatile sub that works in all non-transform teams
LG is a good replacement for VIdeal pairing
RG is an amazing Grigory sub and decent leaderswap pairing (see below for a better one)
BG has an amazing active for non-attacker water teams - great one for Grimmjow

Gintama aka Umbrella collab (https://pad.protic.site/gintama-collab-2nd-run-details/) - low chance of making to NA

Umbrella umbrella umbrella - still the most useful equip in the game (sad face for NA)
Gintoki - another triple 7c VDP sub - you'll notice a trend
Tae Shimura - still one of the most accessible <50% equips
Kintoki - Haomaru pair is my new monthly dungeon speed farm team - who needs Nidhogg
Underwear man - crazy TA2 experience farmer https://youtu.be/kLRN9vDEZU8

Rolling Advice

It's called umbrella collab for a reason - trade for him and you're done

Great equip for Rampeid teams - worth the effort to evolve
Jargo is a lot of fun - reminds of me of MFenrir ZKitty (https://youtu.be/XEusCJQUUjU)

Haku Buff (https://pad.protic.site/buffs-for-haku-starter-dragons-and-more/) - S-I-G-H

New Pantheon Evolutions (https://pad.protic.site/new-evolutions-for-ex-fes-exclusives-and-new-reincarnated-evolutions-lu-bu-finally/)

Lu Bu - damn who am I going to meme now that Lu Bu and Kanna have evolutions? Decent TA2 pairing with Shivnia
Neph - great Yugi sub due to the nice 5CD active. Another decent pairing to Yugi.
Pixel LKali - Underrated Dyer sub, great awakenings and active including 3SB
Pixel Fenrir/Zouh - SB stick Yugi/Fasca subs

Bleach Collab (https://pad.protic.site/bleach-collab-3rd-run-details/) - might as well drop the AC and just call it BLEH. Probably coming to NA but who cares?

Shinji - definitely the most potential in the collab. Base is nice alternative to RIdeal pairing. No Zazel means his evo form might not be as good. One of the best actives in the game for A6 in particular
Ichigo - AA3/A6 speed farming /w Yugi - go go go. Lack of RCV makes it really inconsistent IMO (https://youtu.be/53qlc1B0VWw)
Aizen - all hail the former king? The equip is awesome though!
Hiyori - the real gem IMO - great pairing for Grigory especially if you can leaderswap
Gimmjow - the only buff that made a difference - actually a decent pair with Fasca. Another leader with super straight forward playstyle. Note that you don't need more than 1 sub that has green sub attribute to make HP thresholds in AA3 (excluding Grimmjow and Fasca)
Chad - still the man - now with sunglasses
