    LF BF Triangle NA! 372 274 324

    Posted: 22 Nov 2019 09:06 AM PST

I forgot to use my best friend option last reset cycle, so I want to get a jump on this one so I don't forget again. I don't care what leads are used, just as long as you are higher level/played time and at least log on daily! I'm a 1600 day player, and I at least log in daily even if I'm taking a break.

I have Haohmaru and Ina in slot 1 & 2. I also cycle between leads like B&J, Viz, Z. Kitty, Genjuro, and Kaioh. Also still use Ed every once and a while.

If anyone is interested in a triangle hit me up on here.

    Enhanced Water Rows

    Posted: 22 Nov 2019 12:04 PM PST

I have 22 row awakenings on a team and was wondering if the damage caps out at 100 percent since each row awakening boosts the teams' attack by 15 percent.

[Guide] (shitpost?) Skill Test Dungeon 2 - Again what's the point?

    Posted: 21 Nov 2019 10:47 PM PST

    Level 1 - 10

    Just Coop

yes i'm mad Every stages are straight forward - testing you to keep activating the leader skills to survive mechanics and burst. Not a lot to write about IMO. Always check the effect of active skills given and your leader skills.

Since you have extra HP to survive otherwise one hit KO floors (Lv10), more SBs for less stalling (Lv9), and more actives in case of bad matching (Lv1-8), Coop makes every floor significantly easier. In Solo you have extra Super Awakenings but none of them are useful except the cloud and tape resist in Level 10.

    Actual tips:

    Lv 10 - D/D Anubis lead.

Your matching time is 7s. You can't cycle actives indefinitely, use the shields wisely and try not to overwrite the longer CD one just for the damage boost. There are multiple spawns that has TE debuff, save HBastet to counter. Jorm give poison and jammer skyfall and Thor sometimes locks orbs - try not to have 1 or 2 locked poison and jammers.

All spawns requires skill active + at least 9c to oneshot. A lot of spawns one hit KO's you if you don't have a shield up / at full HP and you don't have any heart/board makers. Nothing saves you from RNG no heart.

MAKE NO DAMAGE TO HEXAZEON ON FIRST TURN to avoid spinner if you don't know yet. He enrage at a rather high HP compares to your team damage, locking board and awoken bind (though it doesn't affect your team much). Save HBastet active for TE during awoken bind.

    Good luck.

    Lv 9 - Quetzalcoatl lead.

Cycle your +c actives on spinners to stay alive with shield on LS. Do NOT oneshot Arionrhod with FUA unless you are very proficient dealing with spinners. Grind her down so she put up locked skyfall to help you countering the spinners. Good to have Oria ready by 3rd floor (Spica with fire absorb).

Quetzalcoatl (the boss) is a fucking horrible grindfest since your team is doing little to none damage. Every 3rd turn he doesn't do damage and refresh either of his buffs, but you still have to heal with shield up to take the 2nd hit. He has a turn of TE reduction before the enrage kill at 10%, save the 2x burst make use of that and either save Quetzalcoatl or other +c actives.

Quetzalcoatl constantly switches your lead - all of your subs has some form of shield, remember to activate both of them to survive. Also you have 2 emergency shields, use Distel first so he can be charged up as burst.

One of Quetzalcoatl's skill set is awoken bind. This can be followed up by a random 3 cards bind and your leads can be bound. Your only board changer is Maeda's refresh but that doesn't guarantee you 3 hearts to heal if you are running out of hearts. Since this is a slow grind against Quetzalcoatl it's almost bound to happen and there's nothing you can do about it.

Lv 8 - SR Venus lead.

Your super awakenings don't matter until the last floor because it is a rogue dungeon. In solo don't try to VDP Myr because your VDP sub does little to no damage - stall 5 turns then burst. Remember your LS shield activates via any color Ls. Your highest damage dealer is Hathor who requires light L & 7cs, but throughout the dungeon 16x LS from any L and 6c should be enough to OHKO any non boss spawns.

    Lv 7 - Camael lead.

On 7x6 orbs are rather sufficient to heal (6 connected fire or wood) and stall. You can see there are two lead switching subs - Macha and Valten. Consider switching to Macha as soon as possible to your life easier. If you are in coop consider switching them as both of your leads.

You don't need Valten's resolve. He can be an emergency switch if you triggered Bigfoots enrage. Stall till Bigfoots shield goes down to 80 or 75 then burst him down with Camael's active.

    Lv 1 - 6

Nothing worth noting. Read leader skills.

    Play from Europe?

    Posted: 22 Nov 2019 12:50 AM PST

This might sound stupid, but is it OK to play on the US server from Europe and maybe get a few gems? I really like this type of game but I'd hate to lose my progress and gems if it's against regulations.

    Getting worse at matching?

    Posted: 21 Nov 2019 07:19 PM PST

I have been noticing this somewhat gradually for the past year, but I think I am getting worse at PAD, specifically when it comes to solving boards. I figured I could sanity check and see if maybe it's something else, or if others have the same problem.

Basically, when solving boards, I know what path I want to move orbs, and how I want to move them - the problem is, a lot of times I simply don't. I'll try to make two vertical 3 orb matches of Fire and Water next to each other, for example, only to see that in the middle, the Fire and Water swapped, like so:

    FW WF FW

Now imagine that for a bunch of other patterns. Sometimes, it looks like the orbs are 'spazzing' while I'm moving them, where it sort of swaps spots rapidly? But most of the time they just keep ending up in undesired spots, forcing me to go back and fix the match, which slows down my overall solving speed.

If I play slow enough, it's not really a problem, but once I start to match at a moderate speed, I tend to have to 'rematch' for a lot of messed up orbs.

I turned 31 this year, which seems to be around the time a lot of my peers joke about getting old, but I do wonder if maybe my reaction time is starting to fail me, as my board solving issue didn't used to be this bad even 2 years ago. Do I need to accept that I will soon have old lady reflexes, or am I overlooking personal faults?

I use a Mixoo Capacitive Stylus Pen, which seems to have excellent grip, but I have the issue with both its soft and hard tip. I'm currently using a Samsung Galaxy S7, on Android 7.0, so I don't think it's hardware lag - I used to play on older phones ok from what I remember (iPhone4, BLU R1 HD).

Does anyone have any suggestions on what I could do to make my solving more smooth? Who else has had issue with orbs being in the wrong place frequently, as opposed to once in a while? Is my S7 partially at fault for being too weak, even for PAD? Any and all help/advice would be appreciated :)

EDIT: To be sure there isn't confusion, the stylus I use has both a microfiber soft tip, and a hard plastic disc tip. Both work about the same, but with slight feel differences.
