    First ASR2 Clear w/ Valeria Swap

    Pretty happy about this clear.

    TeamI was inspired to try this team out thanks to u/Rylite's post about his clear.Just shy of 2 years ago I got my first AA2 clear with a 7x6 Sensui/Zinogre team so I felt like it would be pretty awesome to try and bring back the amazingly buffed Zinogre for my first ASR2 clear.

    I tried to meme as many TeamHP+ awakenings as I could on the team to see if i could add 2x hp because why not. Didn't find a way to fit 20 on my first clear, but since then I've made a version of the team with 20 Team HP+ awakenings so as long as I don't get awoken bound the team has 2x hp from awakenings alone.

    I think the hardest part about this team is the first few floors where I'm trying to stall as much as I can to get Valeria swapped before floor 5. I made my life harder here by using Opacho assist instead of Chibi-Ralg who is 4 turns faster, but I was committed to the teamhp+ meme and I wasn't going to let that 1 go.

    Once Valeria is swapped in the team has a almost 8x effective hp from shields alone. Double that from awakenings while not awoken-bound and thats a beefy 16x ehp just for matching 4 colors.

    Damage wise this team has no problem taking down even SunQuan in 3 turns. It is a bit slow on taking down Gilles without Diablos' active or a generous amount of skyfalls, but the team can very comfortably tank Gilles so waiting for Diablos active to come up when you want to push past 50% or into kill territory is no problem.

    In the first version of this team I had _u/g Kukan and he was doing a ton of damage to Gilles but I needed to swap him out for Kamimusubi for a faster time-extend because my PSI made floors 2-5 really rough with the time debuff. I do believe I can swap out Legiana for Kukan to see if I can get Gilles down <10 turns.

    Other than that the only real hazard with this team is accidentally skyfalling a floor into its execution %. Pretty sure Ive died to Shivadra 3 times thanks to that. Now I just spend Diablos active and kill it turn 2 because I don't mind stalling for it to come back up on Gilles.

    Hello and welcome to our 21st changelog! Just like last time, we have another exciting update!!

    Exciting update

    You can now query based on multiple awakenings! Here's how it works:

    • ^id 7-sb will give Valeria
    • ^id 5-sb valeria also gives Valeria; cards with N awakenings also have N-1, N-2, etc
    • ^id 8-sb will not return any results because Valeria's 8th SB is an SA, however:
    • ^id 8-sa-sb will give Valeria once again
    • ^id 6-sb r odin does give you rodin, i.e. sb substitutes for sb+
    • ^id sb+ base dbdc valeria gives you nothing though, the substitution doesn't work in the other direction
    • You can also do like ^id 4-killer kiri to get kiri, we have some general forms of awakenings
    • Or ^id 5-oe weatherlight to get weatherlight
    • ^id 1-sa-killer reiwa will get you reiwa; however, ^id 8-sa-killer reiwa will not, because these awakenings conflict with each other.

    For a full list of awakening names, please see our id user guide! You can retrieve this at any time with the command ^idhelp.

    One feature that is forthcoming is: Currently ^id 8-sa-sb 1-sa-fua valeria will resolve, but we would like it not to, since these SAs conflict with each other. This is a different case from the 8-sa-killer reiwa mentioned above because they are in separate modifiers, which makes it more difficult to implement. However, we do plan to fix this, so stay tuned!! Ticket here

    Another forthcoming feature (hopefully) is to support negating these.

    Additional new features

    • Our automod imagelimit now takes into account the recency that you posted images. So no more deleting images just because you posted one screenshot two days ago and another one today.
    • We submitted PR/issue#1000 to our main repo! This is a fun easter egg, let us know if you notice it! 🙂
    • The buttoninfo command now has some more info added to it! Note that these numbers do NOT yet take into account same-attribute stats (that's a todo). If there's a card you'd like us to add, let us know either in this thread or through the ^feedback command!

    Bug fixes & minor updates

    • Added support for Super Gorkaos's new leader skill
    • Made a behind-the-scenes update that will allow for more things to use embeds in the future 👀

    Anybody else on a huge SDR drought lately?

    For most dungeons I need everyone in my team to have at least 2 SDR, but the lack of Tamas in my box is making it hard for me to properly use the new shiny cards I've gotten recently. I've been having to either trade killers for SDR Tamas or burn a lot of MP on them for the past few months. To make matters worse, I couldn't farm the SDR Tama dungeon last time it came around due to life issues during that week.

    Does anyone know if there are any events coming up where we can stock up on SDR Tamas?

    Naga - Anyone come up with some good uses for her? (Shura 2/ASR2/Shura3)

    I'm having trouble finding good uses for Naga in end game content

    Base Naga

    • Lead: +Adds 3 combos, +1.5xHP/50% shield, -No RCV, -low multiplier, -low personal damage, -no VDP, -requires 2 water combo
    • Sub: +Good shield (lowers team HP requirement down to 457k in ASR2), +2-3 Fruit awakenings, -low personal damage, -no VDP, -low HP

    Evo Naga

    • Lead: +Adds 2 combos, +FUA, +2.5x HP, -No RCV, -No Shield, -below average VDP damage (without heart L), -18 turn base active
    • Sub: +5sb, -18 turn base active, -50% time for 2 turns on your big kill turn is very difficult without a time fix, below average personal VDP damage (with Heart L it becomes average damage), -low HP

    The equip looks very strong, but the lead/sub of Naga I'm having trouble finding uses for. Anyone got some ideas? I think there's a lot of people out there trying to figure out what to do with her.

    Is HMadoo worth anything today?

    I rolled HMadoo in the Godfest, but she seems a little underwhelming for the highest rarity card in the machine. As a leader the only thing she has going for her is bulk, but recent meta leads from machines like Monogatari and Mystics have more bulk and a lot more benefits on top of that. For example, Nadeko and Seina both have more effective HP, more damage, more damage reduction/recovery, and extra benefits like +combos. As a sub she seems like a weird side-grade to Allatu, who I'd probably use over HMadoo most of the time for the poison resist. The equip seems a bit weird too with a combination of prong and L-unlock.

    Has there just been too much power creep in the last 6-months for her to be worth anything anymore, or am I missing something?
