    I'm out, that's all I can afford, plus a little extra. Just a brief warning for anyone who is not willing to break the bank for the edge of the meta.

    57 rolls, 15x 6 star gfes, 5x 7 star gfes (got the green witch and 3 Fascas lmao), plus a ton of cards I didn't have in awoken forms yet, so it's not a total bust (in fact, the rates were prettt good overall). I'm pretty well set to trade for anything that I want to for a few collabs at least.

    Which is why I'm going to SERIOUSLY tone down my spending in this game. It's just not worth it to get a team that's slightly better at a few dungeons. I'm not rich, but I saved up a little, and pad is one of my only hobbies. That said it's increasingly less worthwhile to chase the bleeding edge of the meta to me. Anyways, /rant i suppose. Play smart guys.

    [Review] Algei and Norza

    Algei and Norza are coming in the coming SGF. Very exciting as these are the two most powerful leaders in the game on the same level as Yugi and Fasca. Wanted some share my thoughts on them and provide a bit of advice on rolling. Please read the SGF guide if you want to know more about the whole line up.

    Algei

    • Top rainbow leader with extremely flexible team building with no type or color restrictions.
    • SB requirements are lower than Yugi/Nelle as well as Norza teams as the primary pairings have at least 2SB. This is further reenforced by allowing you to basically use any SB sticks in the game
    • On-par with Norza for AA4 clearing capability assuming a decent team - Norza is safer, Algei is faster
    • The real strength of Algei is the sheer number of dungeon mechanics you can counter with subs and inherits. It really makes your box shine
      • If you need to counter spinners you can sub/pair with base Menoa or sub NYBaal
      • If you need damage stick for AA4 you can run DMenoa or Aten or MFenrir or Kenshin
      • If you need a 2 turn attribute absorb to deal with Yomidra you can run Reeche or NY Reeche as sub or run Yamamoto inherit or DReeche hat
    • She pairs well with many leaders including: base Menoa (you can even leaderswap), Shinji, VIdeal, Mickey & Friends (fingers crossed still), Lucia (should be coming)
    • The most important thing is you shouldn't roll for her - she is best as a friend
      • This means light attribute is last damage which is very useful for AA4, allows you to not use attribute absorb before Yomidra
      • You want leaderswap latent on someone else as Algei is a crazy good damage dealer

    Norza

    • The safest leader to take into any dungeon with crazy shield, movement time and recovery when paired with GH Yomi
    • She can only shine with another 2CD sub to allow to you constantly use active skill. There are many options: Norza, base evo Yuri, Rimururu, Claymore, Lutina
      • Yuri is accessible to most people as she's a token exchange. She's also the most consistent outside of Norza herself with 90%+ AA4 clears.
    • The most important thing is you don't need her
      • You can trade for GH Yomi and use a Yuri sub then pair with a Norza friend
      • Similar to Algei, you want leaderswap on GH Yomi and not Norza
      • You can always "upgrade" your Yuri/lutina/etc when you roll Norza eventually
      • This also makes team building easier as running two Norza means very restrict SB requirements - even lowering by 1 makes it substantially easier

    And remember, you guys will get red witch too! My very short experience tells me she's just as good as the two above.

    Have been preparing for this to clear AA4 (Can't do it with my yugi/nelle).

    I've read the guide but still can't seem to get all the requirements to clear AA4. I added Polowne to cover damage absorption but don't have an awoken bind clear.

    Any advice is appreciated.

    Personal advice: wait for the following SGFs to pull for Norza or Aljae. This one isn't much special compared to the next one JP got (GW Super Godfest was 36.6% GFE rates vs 33%), or the Seasonal Super Godfest with Xmas/NY/Valentine Seasonals, or even the 8 stone Godfest that JP got with every single great witch. But if you see something in this current godfest that you would like to roll like the Fenrir Vix, Typhon, Dark Kali, Sherias Roots, Hera Luna, then go ahead and roll in this godfest. It's not a "bad" Godfest and the rates are completely normal.

    Edit: u/missedtrigger reminded me that the good thing of pulling in this SGF is that if you pull Norza, it may influence whether or not you trade or chase for Tsukuyomi from the Gungho machine. Also it might provide the trade fodder you need for Tsukuyomi or the upcoming collabs like Shaman King/DMC/June Bride.
