    For example, here's a standard 8 combo board solved naively: https://pad.dawnglare.com/?s=wAJOGg0. I wrote a script to compute the expected number of combos coming from skyfall. For this board, and assuming 5 colors (since the ranking is no dark), the expected number of combos is:

    5 color: mean=9.450, stdev=1.533

    Setting up skyfalls means arranging the leftover orbs like this: https://pad.dawnglare.com/?s=sWkl9O0. The expected number of combos:

    5 color: mean=10.133, stdev=1.833

    You can also arrange skyfalls on both sides, like this: https://pad.dawnglare.com/?s=94IBCk0

    5 colors: mean=10.922, stdev=2.058

    So 3 setups results in 0.7 combos, and 6 setups results in twice that. That means each individual setup is 0.23 combos in a 5 color dungeon. (0.15 for a 6 color dungeon).

    Many people are already aware that cascading can also be used to increase skyfalls, e.g. https://pad.dawnglare.com/?s=z9U8LP0. Being good at cascades is often seen as the difference between a skilled player and an average player. However, each cascade only adds 0.2 combos.

    5 color: mean=9.652, stdev=1.590

    In conclusion, I think cascades are overrated by the community (for getting bonus combos; cascades are still great for avoiding orb movement) and simple skyfall setups are underrated. Each cascade has roughly the same impact as just setting up one skyfall. But since the latter is significantly easier, they should be prioritized when solving boards.

    I just got a king tama from the ranking NA. It gave me plus 297. I couldve sworn you get plus297 from plus cave tama invade the last few days. And I ran it a few times trying to get the 297 tama from there but no luck. Did gungho make a mistake and meant the tama from ranking?

    Are the new medal exchange GFEs coming to NA soon?

    I was checking puzzledragonx.com and noticed that the newest medal exchange GFEs (Jiraiya, Yuri, Grandis) have English-language listings on the site (http://www.puzzledragonx.com/en/monster.asp?n=5946), while Menoa's card name is in Japanese.

    Does this mean that the exchange medal is coming to NA soon?
