    Some things to think about when trading for Alice (and other meta bandwagon leads)

    By no means a completely comprehensive analysis, but she's been highly anticipated for a while and stuff, so hopefully this'll prevent some "hindsight 20/20" moments

    First big question: Do you have Faska or some other pairing? If so, save your fodder. Similar to the yugi takeover, you'll have plenty of Alices on your friends list by the end of the week so no need to worry about that. Now, there is a case for her equip, however if you're at the point where you're looking into such luxuries you should have a grasp on what's best for you and you don't need to read this.

    Some food for thought: Orphen, Gilgamesh (Fate), Bradamante, Diaochan, Uvo (L/R) Tifa, and Odysseus are some 7x6 pairings that'll work to some extent. You can use them to pair with friend Alice leads and test out the playstyle a bit.

    Second big question: What does your team look like, and what do you want to use it for? Alice is great, but if you're doing the big "scrape up SBs and ditch all else" then chances are your other leads and teams will be just as strong if not stronger AND be a lot more fun to play. Don't be like that one guy who traded for Yugi but had to run 3 fortress dragons and whaledor to make it work. If you got a great VIdeal team going, I'd be willing to bet it'll feel hell of a lot nicer than some hodge-podge Alice team with no orb changers. If trading for her does nothing for you (doesn't unlock more content, and you don't have a team that'll make you want to play AND enjoy her over your existing teams) then don't trade.

    Some things to consider: Orb changers (can feel pretty clunky without them), SBs (to transform faska), time extends (if your only TEs are on Alice and Faska, might want to give your own skill on 7x6 a look before pulling the trigger, especially if you need SB badge), resistances, and utilities (fujin, hazard skyfall overwrite, VDP, etc).

    Bottom line: do your research. If you have no idea whether you have a team or not, then that's a warning flag. And you certainly shouldn't be trading before you've figured it out. Check youtube and other reddit threads to figure out what teams look like. Zoopido's faska guide has an Alice section. JP name is [決意の騎士・アリス]. It'll turn up game8/gamewith/altema templates as well, but remember to not take those at face value because it's accomodating JP's selection of collabs.

    Third question: What are you foddering? Split into two sections:

    GFEs should be kept in at least one copy, ideally two imo. Popular "useless" fodders nowadays like Kaede, Esch, and Ameno are due for mega awokens. While they've been underwhelming lately, keep in mind Kanna mega was pretty nice and Yog turned into a fantastic sub, who knows what's in store. Some others like Skuld and the Sonias have run their course a bit, but they have nice board changes and you never know what situations might call for it. Maybe Ameno will be a lead pairing, you never know.

    As for SAO fodder, some things to note: Kirito is a good lead in 7x6 form, and his old evo is sneakily lurking at the cusp of relevance, he's got the potential for one of jammer res, 7c+VDP, or 4sb. Sounds like prime sub material for some future transform lead. Leafa seems useless right now, but Brachydios equip with >80% and OE has been finding itself on a lot of faska/alice teams these days, and leafa may be in a similar position when green comes back to the spotlight. Yuuki has awoken bind clear, SB equip with blind res. That's money in the current transform meta. Eugeo isn't the greatest, and may have the best case for fodder, but tape+rows is a nice equip for that lampeid you got last week. Sinon has the ever coveted <50% equip, with a short cd HP drop that doesn't make hearts for farming. And Asuna is... a staple for that Alice you're thinking of trading for so that's self explanatory. Point being, having 1+ copy of the diamonds is a good thing.

    *Fourth question: Anything in the near future you'd rather save fodder for? *Bleach is on the horizon, Disney is supposedly coming as well. Maybe the Distel/Rikuu in academy is your cup of tea. Either way, if you're a big fan of any future stuff for whatever reason (I for one will get the bleach diamonds no matter how bad they are) then keep that in mind. Check out protic for exchange lists.

    Addendum: There are some evolutions on the horizon that may ease up on teambuilding, with the huge one being Mega Kanna, who carries an effective 6sb and also has blind res. Definitely something to consider, if you're willing to wait.

    Finally, the no-brainer: Are you a SAO fan who plans to keep rolling? Then please don't trade (yet). If you feel like you're going to throw some more stones at it, then you don't want to be giving up your only Kaede when you could've given up nothing, or your 4th kirito. Are you a SAO fan who rolled a lot already and Alice is printed on your body pillow? Then go ahead. If you've got your own reason to trade, then I say enjoy the game as it is. But if you're on the flavour of the month bandwagon, give it some more thought.

    tl;dr

    Do you like SAO and Alice a lot, whatever the cost, no regrets? Go for it.

    Otherwise, do you have a team? More specifically, do you have a team that works well for content you want Alice to do for you? Will you even play Alice more than a few times after you trade for her? What are you foddering off? Are they dupes? Don't fodder off only copies. Might they get buffs/evos soon? Do you have a pair lead already?

    I get it, everyone wants to have the latest and greatest thing. But these are some things you should be asking before making irreversible changes to your box depth. Hope this helps provoke some more individual thought other than "I want S tier lead, here box, tell me to trade pls"

    While most of us are cooped up in our homes...I feel like Gungho could make a special Ranking Dungeon that is active at the same time for JP & NA servers.

    I feel it would be pretty cool to not have any time to really prepare teams before a Ranking Dungeon comes.

    Maybe they could make it cost between 1-3 stamina and have the dungeon only give out around 1 Rank EXP per run.

    I rolled Alice and am hoping someone can help me create a good team for her. I plan on mega awakening Ilm and putting him on there. I also have Saria on there for now and might evo her to POD Saria for this team but not sure if she's even a good sub. Also, don't have a good VDP card to add from what I can tell from my team.

    I was able to get an Alice today and I see everyone raving about her for a lead. I have a Dyer team that shpuld be pretty great when the new evos come out ( Kanna and OdinDra). Unfortunately she isn't a God type so she can't fit on that team, but her equip is incredible. Should that be her main use, or is that considered a waste?

    Also, what is her capability as a leader? What subs would be good for her in general?

    Help with troubleshooting teams

    I'm hoping to get some help with troubleshooting my teams a bit. I think that I built them decently? but I for some reason feel like on higher difficulty dungeons I'm still not reaching that damage that I'd expect with my Akine team. I really have been wanting to clear Qilin so I can Super Reincarnate my Sakuya, but I cannot reach the damage to kill Qilin off at the end. I would expect that with Akine's high damage multiplier I could kill him, yet even when I pierce through damage void I can only get Qilin down like 40% health with 9 combos and full multiplier activation when paired with another Akine.

    On another note I'm curious should I bother trying to complete my Yugi team? I was thinking of throwing in a Shelling Ford Equip and Frigg equip, to get two more SBs, but would the team be good enough in comparison to my Akine team to warrant the work to get the evo components for the Shelling Ford equip?
